Roar: Northampton

I’m growing a love for projects like this – the brief was roughly… “Create a documentary from the event, something that shows people what it’s like to preach the gospel in a town square of the UK, show the rawness, and real bits as well as the headlines.”
Not only the creative freedom but also the subject make working on something like this a real pleasure.

Gear and Process

GH5, GX80, Samyang 12mm & Lumix 25mm, and a 17-50mm.
Sound – Rode NTG4+ and VideoMicro. NTG4+ went into the Zoom H5.
Stage audio was recorded directly from the desk, and I added some reverb and distortion later.
Edited in FCPX, Colour was done with Curves.
Music from Soundstripe.
Turn around was just about a week.
